Customer portal

The customer portal is your home for managing Forum Fortress:

portal.forumfortress.com

Use it to review recent activity, manage connected forums, handle moderation workflows, view reports, change plan, and contact support.

The plugin does not need the portal to be open all the time. Many forum owners only visit when checking recent activity, reviewing held items, upgrading a plan, or asking for help.

Static preview (marketing site)

The public marketing site hosts a static portal preview with sample data so you can explore the interface before installing the plugin. It is not connected to a real forum: some controls are disabled or show demo notices, contact shortcuts open the main site, and the preview may not match the latest live portal exactly.

Who the portal is for

The portal is useful if you:

  • own or administer a forum protected by Forum Fortress
  • moderate spam decisions outside your forum admin panel
  • manage more than one community
  • want reports, trends, and decision history
  • need plan, billing, or support access

Signing in

You can create or connect your account after installing the plugin.

Typical flow:

  1. Install and enable the plugin on your forum.
  2. Open the portal from the plugin or visit portal.forumfortress.com.
  3. Create an account or sign in.
  4. Connect your forum when prompted.

Magic-link and password sign-in may both be available depending on your account setup.

Choosing a forum

If you have more than one connected forum, make sure the correct forum is selected before reviewing activity or changing settings.

Most portal pages show information for the selected forum. Cross-forum tools are shown where your plan supports them.

Portal navigation

The portal sidebar is grouped into Protect, Analyse, and Account.

Moderation workspace Cross-forum moderation tools where supported by your plan. Useful when managing multiple communities.

Overview

The Overview page gives you a quick sense of what Forum Fortress is doing for the selected forum.

Depending on your plan and configuration, it may show:

  • recent decisions
  • current protection status
  • queue volume
  • trend direction
  • attack mode status
  • product notices
  • shortcuts to common actions

Use this page for quick daily checks or to confirm that protection is active after install, upgrade, or host changes.

Decision log

The Decision log is for recent allow/block outcomes and the evidence behind them.

A held item might be spam, or it might simply need a second look before being allowed. Review the visible reasons, check the context, then apply the available action.

Where supported, you can filter by forum, time range, decision type, or status.

Moderation workspace (MultiMod)

The Moderation workspace (MultiMod) is built for admins and moderators who manage more than one forum.

Where your plan supports it, this area brings moderation queues together across every connected forum on your account, regardless of platform (XenForo, phpBB, Invision, etc.). Items sync from your forums about every 10 minutes; approve/reject/ham actions from the portal return JSON for in-page updates when using the modern workspace UI (no full page reload required for bulk actions).

Decision log and reports

The Decision log and Advanced reports are deeper review tools.

Use them when you want to understand:

  • what was blocked or allowed
  • whether spam pressure is increasing
  • which types of checks are being triggered
  • how your forum is trending over time

These features may depend on your plan. If a feature is not included, the portal will explain what is needed.

Blocklist checker

The Blocklist checker lets you check URLs or text against Forum Fortress signals from the portal.

This is useful when you want to quickly investigate suspicious content without creating a test post on your live forum.

A public checker is also available at:

check.forumfortress.com

Plan and billing

The Plan page shows your current plan and available upgrade paths.

Use it to review:

  • included features
  • usage or limits shown for your account
  • billing status
  • renewal and invoice information where available
  • upgrade options

The portal is the best place to confirm current plan names, limits, and pricing.

Support

Use Contact for one-off questions or support requests.

Use Support tickets when you want to follow an ongoing thread tied to your account.

When contacting support, include:

  • your forum URL
  • the affected forum platform
  • the approximate time of the issue
  • examples of affected users, posts, or decisions
  • any error message shown in the plugin or portal

Privacy and access

You only see forums connected to your login.

The portal does not replace your forum's own member administration tools. It manages Forum Fortress activity, moderation workflows, reporting, plans, and support.

For more detail about what the plugin sends to Forum Fortress, retention, hashing, and outbound network access, read Privacy and network access.
