Forum Fortress Roadmap

Forum Fortress is continuing to expand its platform support while improving the tools used to manage and strengthen forum protection.

This roadmap outlines the main developments currently planned for 2026.

Forum Platform Support

IPB and SMF out of beta

We expect these integrations to leave beta in the next few weeks once testing is fully satisfactory. They are however both largely feature complete and stable so can be tested on sites with confidence.

MyBB - In Development

Support for MyBB is currently in development and will be the next forum platform added to Forum Fortress.

Flarum - By the End of Summer 2026

Flarum support is planned to follow MyBB, with both integrations targeted for completion by the end of summer 2026.

Discourse - By the End of 2026

Support for Discourse is planned for later in the year, with a target release by the end of 2026.

Customer Portal Redesign

A redesigned Forum Fortress customer portal is planned for release by the end of summer 2026.

The new portal will provide a clearer and more modern interface for managing protected forums, reviewing activity and accessing account information.

Improved Self-Learning Protection

Later developments will focus on improving Forum Fortress's self-learning capabilities.

The system will become better at identifying patterns across detected spam, account behaviour and attempted abuse, allowing protection to adapt as new tactics emerge.

AI-Assisted Analysis

Forum Fortress will also introduce AI-assisted analysis of trends, activity logs and detection data.

This will help identify emerging behaviour, highlight unusual activity and provide additional intelligence that can be used to strengthen the wider protection network.
